More than 150 local high school students explored real-world science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers at Southern Connecticut State University during the third annual STEM Symposium, held at the Adanti Student Center on Nov. 21, 2025.
The SCSU Innovation Hub, Junior of Achievement of Southwest New England, and Young Women in Bio-CT cohosted the third STEM Symposium to offer high school students a day of hands-on activities and words of wisdom from leading women in STEM. The goal? To spark curiosity, deepen interest, and build career confidence in the next generation of STEM leaders. Through hands-on breakout sessions, students will practice real-world skills utilized in a variety of STEM sector roles.
